Environmental Water
China’s first-class water environment management service provider
As the environmental water sector of Everbright Environment, Everbright Water is listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Stock Exchange”). As China’s first-class water environment management service provider, Everbright Water focuses on the “waterrelated” business areas. It has developed a fully-fledged business coverage that includes raw water protection, water supply, municipal waste water treatment, industrial waste water treatment, reusable water, river-basin ecological restoration, sludge treatment and disposal, etc. It has also formed a full business chain in the water industry, spanning project investment, planning and design, technology research and development and related services, engineering and construction, operations management, and integrated diagnosis, among others.
As of 31 December 2025, Everbright Water had invested in and held 172 projects, with a total investment of approximately RMB31.853 billion. It also undertook 16 operation and management services and other asset-light businesses. The designed capacities of these projects (including treatment capacity under the operation and management model) are as follows: an annual waste water treatment capacity of 2,352,443,250 m3, an annual reusable water supply capacity of 118,479,000 m3, an annual water supply capacity of 310,250,000 m3, an annual sludge treatment capacity of 793,875 tonnes, and an annual livestock and poultry manure treatment capacity of 109,500 tonnes.
Benchmark Projects



The only Chinese project in the 12 successful PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) cases in the world recognised by the “2016 UNECE* International PPP Forum”.
A benchmark project in terms of the market-oriented model for industrial park environment management.
A green and low-carbon demonstration project that integrates facilities and measures relating to solar power generation, waste water heat supply, reusable water and sludge recycling.



One of the fiscal-supported pilot projects for sponge city construction, one of the Top 5 projects in the Building Back Better Infrastructure Award of UNECE*.
A benchmark project in the protection and management of wetland in water source areas, which represents a good practice in supporting China’s Rural Revitalisation Strategy.
