Greentech

As of 30 June 2020, the greentech sector had secured a total of 117 projects, including 49 integrated biomass utilisation projects (urban-rural integration projects inclusive), 58 hazardous waste and solid waste treatment projects, 7 solar energy projects, 2 wind power projects and 1 acquired environmental protection company, with a total investment of approximately RMB30.210 billion. These projects are designed to have an annual biomass raw materials processing capacity of approximately 8,089,800 tonnes, an annual household waste processing capacity of approximately 3,252,200 tonnes, and an annual hazardous waste and solid waste treatment capacity of approximately 2,621,900 tonnes, which are expected to generate on-grid electricity of approximately 6,359,867,000 kWh and steam supply of approximately 3,999,000 tonnes per annum. In addition, greentech had accumulatively undertaken 31 environmental remediation services, with an aggregate contract value of approximately RMB874 million.

Dangshan Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-Energy Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year and a daily household waste treatment capacity of 400 tonnes. It is Everbright Environment's first urban-rural integrated project and also China's first integrated biomass and waste-to-energy project. It opened up a new horizon for urban-rural waste integrated treatment in county areas in China and was awarded the honor of "Distinctive Enterprise in Anhui Province's Environmental Protection Sector".

Lingbi Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-Energy Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capability of 300,000 tonnes and a daily household waste processing capability of 400 tonnes. The project is the first of its kind in China that has had its biomass treatment and waste-to-energy facilities constructed at the same time. Its completion of construction and commencement of operation marked a new start for China's urban-rural waste integrated treatment sector. It also made a breakthrough in China's existing model of separately constructing biomass and waste-to-energy projects.

Hanshan Biomass Direct Combustion Project has a designed annual biomass material processing capability of 300,000 tonnes. It is Everbright Environment's first direct combustion project that processes yellow culms. It is also a demonstration project of the company's integrated utilisation of agricultural waste and straw that consists of collection, storage, transportation and utilisation.

Dingyuan Biomass Direct Combustion Project has a designed annual biomass material processing capability of 300,000 tonnes. As one of the ten major projects in Dingyuan County, the project employs water-cooled vibrating grate boiler technology.

Huaiyuan Biomass and Waste-to-Energy Integration Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 280,000 tonnes and a daily household waste processing capacity of 400 tonnes. The projects are able to process the highest portion of yellow culms during the mixed incineration process, compared with other power generation plants of the same type in China. This has fundamentally overcome the difficulty of low utilisation rates for yellow culms by biomass power generation plants in China.

Nanqiao Biomass Cogeneration Project has a designed annual agricultural waste and straw processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes. As one of the key projects in Nanqiao District of Chuzhou City, the project can help increase the income of local villagers in the neighborhood and improve their living standards. It is also where the Everbright Greentech Environmental Protection Clean Energy Administrative Centre is located.

Xiao County Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-Energy Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes and a daily household waste processing capacity of 400 tonnes. The project marks another milestone in the exploration and implementation of the urban-rural integration business model. Together with the urban-rural integration projects in Dangshan and Lingbi, the project is able to further strengthen business synergy and project management within the region.

Fengyang Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-energy Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes and a daily household waste processing capacity of 400 tonnes. The project garnered the "Fast Development Award for Major Projects in Fengyang County".

Yu'an Biomass Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project has a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes. The project is mainly responsible of processing biomass materials such as straw and other agricultural waste from the Yu’an District and its surrounding areas. It is of practical significance for the local areas in terms of promoting the development of the circular economy and the agricultural machinery sector, absorbing surplus of rural labor force, and supporting agriculture, farmer and rural area.

Sucheng Biomass Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project has a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 120,000 tonnes. It mainly provides steam for the Sucheng Economic Development Zone and Suqian Industrial Park. The project received subsidies from the central government of the PRC for its efforts in resource conservation and recycling under the "2016 Central Budgetary Investment Plan".

Xuyi Biomass Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project has a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes. It is Everbright Greentech's first electricity and heat cogeneration project, and also the company's only project that applies high-low circulating fluidised bed boiler technology. The project is a pioneer in county areas of China for developing electricity and heat cogeneration operation model for clean energy.

Rugao Biomass Direct Combustion Power Generation Project has a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 280,000 tonnes. It is Everbright Greentech's first project of this type that uses circulating fluidised bed boiler technology

Guanyun Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-Energy Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 289,800 tonnes and a daily household waste processing capacity of 500 tonnes. As the first urban-rural integration project in Jiangsu Province, the project was awarded the “Outstanding Unit on Safe Operation in 2017” in Guanyun County.

Mianzhu Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-Energy Projects have a designed annual biomass material processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes. Located at the Industrial Park of Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, the projects will coordinate with one another to process household waste and agricultural waste within the urban region of Mianzhu City in Sichuan Province.
