Wu Lijun, General Manager of Everbright Group, visits Everbright Environment's Beijing Management Centre and meets Frontline Staff


As the old year goes by clouds, the new spring becomes deeper. On 8 February 2021, Wu Lijun, General Manager of China Everbright Group Ltd. ("Everbright Group"), visited the Beijing Management Centre of China Everbright Environment Group Limited ("Everbright Environment" or the "Company"), meeting the frontline staff and extending New Year's greetings to all staff there. The visit was joined by Fu Wanjun, Deputy General Manager of Everbright Group, and Yang Shiqiao, Deputy General Manager of Everbright Environment. Wang Tianyi, Chairman of the board and CEO of Everbright Environment, participated in the visit through a video conferencing system from the Company's Suzhou Waste-to-energy Project.



Wu Lijun paid a visit to the frontline staff who were devoted to their positions at the Beijing Management Centre, and held a video conference with frontline staff of several projects under Everbright Environment, namely Suzhou Waste-to-energy Project, Xiongan Integrated Waste Treatment Project, Suzhou Waste Water Treatment Project and Lianyungang Hazardous Waste Treatment Project. During the video conference, Wu Lijun listened to briefings from all the projects on various issues, including the working arrangements during the holidays, the pandemic prevention and control measures, reserve of pandemic prevention supplies, health of frontline staff and their living goods supplies.





Wu Lijun also listened carefully to the introduction of Everbright Environment's new products, including water purifiers and lighting products for households and individual consumers. He enquired about performance and features of the products, and praised Everbright Environment's courage to explore consumer goods in the environmental protection sector, as well as the Company's continuous efforts to boost technological innovation and research and development.

On behalf of Everbright Group, Wu Lijun expressed his greetings to the staff who were on duty during the Chinese New Year. He also thanked all staff of Everbright Environment for their hard work over the past year, and extended the New Year's wishes. He said that in the face of unprecedented external changes and challenges in 2020, Everbright Environmental united as one and forged ahead bravely to fight against the pandemic, and achieved positive business results. All business sectors delivered excellent performance. Meanwhile, the Company also made positive contributions to environmental health and safety during the pandemic period, demonstrating outstanding professionalism and spirit of dedication. He hoped that Everbright Environment would ensure smooth progress of all work and proactively shoulder social responsibility during the holidays. The Company should also continue to do an outstanding job in pandemic prevention and control, and make sure project operation in a safe and orderly manner.



Wang Tianyi expressed his gratitude to the management of Everbright Group on behalf of all staff of Everbright Environment. He said that in 2020, under the leadership and strong support of Everbright Group, together with the joint efforts of more than 10,000 employees of Everbright Environment, the Company achieved excellent results in pandemic prevention and control, as well as business operation, achieving "zero infection" in the workplace. The Company also achieved steady growth in both scale and profit. Looking into 2021, according to the requirements of Everbright Group, Everbright Environment will continue to do an outstanding job in pandemic prevention and control, business operation, while unremittingly promoting strategic transformation, with the aim of taking the Company's development to a new height.



The visit was attended by directors of relevant departments of Everbright Group and relevant heads of Everbright Environment. Relevant project representatives of Everbright Environment also joined the visit through video conference systems.
